Mosaic Virus symptoms on Rose

IllustrationMosaic Virus (virus - Prunus necrotic ringspot, Apple mosaic and others): Variable yellow and green patterns occur in leaves. Some patterns may appear to be rather artistic. Symptoms on foliage are most evident in spring. As the season progresses symptoms often fade. These viruses are not lethal but can reduce vigor and overall performance. There is no control after plants are infected. The primary means of transmission for these viruses is through grafting. No insect vector has been found.
