A Graduate Student Profile of Chris Little


Featured Student Photo: Dr. Chris Little Dr. Chris Little, a May Ph.D. graduate of our department, finalizes research for his project: "Responses of Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench to Fusarium thapsinum and Curvularia lunata at anthesis". His research was conducted under direction of Dr. Clint Magill, whose laboratory is studying fungal diversity and disease resistance in sorghum and cotton.

Dr. Little has recently accepted a faculty position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of Texas–Pan American in Edinburg, Texas, beginning September 2002. His new position will focus on plant pathology and mycology.
